Introduction

The main point of this blog will be to explore and synthesize how art is deeply connected to the seemingly polar opposite world of physics. I will outline how artists have often foreshadowed the theories and discoveries of scientists throughout history. To do this properly, I should assert a definition of art that I will be using. When I was in 6th grade my half-crazy art teacher asked our class to write on a sticky note what we believe art is. Everyone had a different definition of art, from painting to creating with different materials. Art cannot necessarily be simply defined, there is no one concise meaning of art as it means something different to every person.
